Karaoke in Clapham: private rooms, prices and booking
Clapham has no dedicated karaoke bar, but you can book private rooms on Clapham High Street, at Clapham North and over at the Junction.
By Clapham London EditorialClapham has no dedicated karaoke bar of the Lucky Voice kind. What it has is private rooms inside bigger venues, mostly priced per room or per hour, so a group splits the bill. Book ahead, and check prices and opening nights with the venue before you go.
Infernos, Clapham High Street (SW4)
The main name is Infernos, at 146 Clapham High Street, SW4 7UH, at the Clapham Common end near the tube. It is a 70s, 80s and chart nightclub with private karaoke suites, and it is 21+. Visit London lists it as open Fridays, Saturdays and Bank Holiday Sundays.
- Price: karaoke is charged by the hour, on the hour, from £55 for the small room, according to its own FAQ. DesignMyNight gives the same starting price and says rooms take up to 25 people.
- Entry: club tickets are a separate cost, from £12 on the door. Entry is ticketed with a queue system, so arrive on time.
- Booking: rooms are booked through Infernos’s own booking pages, not DesignMyNight.
DesignMyNight says Infernos has been running for over 20 years. Older write-ups give late night booking slots, so confirm hours when you reserve.

The Clapham North, Clapham North (SW4)
The pub’s upstairs room, The World’s End Saloon, is a private karaoke room at the Clapham North. Sessions run for two hours and are priced per room:
- 2 to 6 people: £49
- 7 to 12 people: £69
- 13 or more: £89
Adding a karaoke package to a party booking is £100. That makes it the cheapest way in for a small group. Book through the pub’s karaoke page. The venue is also listed on Tagvenue.
Near the Junction (SW11)
These sit on the Clapham Junction and Battersea border and have an SW11 postcode, so they are close rather than Clapham proper.
The Clapham Grand, St John’s Hill
The Grand runs ticketed karaoke parties upstairs from time to time, such as “Sing It Celine”, a Celine Dion night. That one was 18+, with doors at 7pm, karaoke and DJs until 11pm and last entry at 9pm. Dates change, so check the listings on the Grand’s upstairs page. For private hire, the party room holds 40 seated and 60 to 80 standing, with a DJ booth, mics and a projector and screen, per the Grand’s party room page. Tagvenue shows minimum spends from £500 for a karaoke function room, though which room each figure covers is unclear, so ask before you commit.
Tequila Mockingbird, Battersea Rise
DesignMyNight lists a private karaoke room here, run with Singa, for up to 20 guests, over 18, with tickets from £25 to £100. Another DesignMyNight guide gives a capacity of 40, so confirm the numbers when you book. Details are on DesignMyNight.
Open mics and sing-along nights
Open mic is live music rather than karaoke, so you bring your own songs and instrument. The notes give no current, confirmed open mic night in Clapham that we can point you to, so ask at your local pub or check a listings site such as Open Mic Finder before heading out.
